To The Life Program,
On behalf of the VA Outpatient Substance Abuse Clinic (OSAC), I would like
to thank you for the generous donation of the Good Day/Good Night cd's and
the MP3 players. OSAC treats veterans with substance abuse disorders along with their dual diagnosis, many suffer from symptoms of anxiety, insomnia, irritability, and difficulty dealing with stress. Those veterans that have been using The Life Program consistenly have reported less irritabilty, improved sleep and reduction of stress.

Richard Roberts RN brought cd's, headphones and MP3 players to OSAC'for'several groups of veterans. He gave each veteran a Good Day^Good Night CD and headphones, the veterans who are homeless or who do not own CD players were given a MP3 players. Mr Roberts left a box of the The Program to give to veterans who were unable to participate in those OSAC groups. Many veterans have asked for The Life Program after having heard about positive results from their peers.

OSAC is looking to buy the Headphone Mixer Amplifier. We are planning on incorporating The Life Program into our daily activities. The veterans report benefit. Thank you again for bringing this stress reduction modality to us.

Sincerely,

Gregory Haefner, MD

Director, OSAC
